Who knew?
The cable company knows, thats who! It's all part of their scheme to nickel and dime us into paying for more service because every 6 months your "promotion" expires, your rate skyrockets and you have to call and play negotiator for hours on the phone.
That aside, customer service told me on the phone that someone would be out to reconnect the cable and we didn't need to be home to help them. Forgive me if I was a bit confused when the cable guy knocked on my door and asked me if I knew what he was supposed to do. Really? No, I don't know what you're supposed to do and I don't know what the code on your order paper means.
I guess he figured it out because he didn't come back to the door and we now have a bunch of useless cable television channels.
